INFLUÊNCIA DO GÊNERO NO BULLYING ESCOLAR

Resumo

Há uma crescente discussão sobre violência e esta pode ocorrer especificamente em ambiente escolar se manifestando através da intimidação sistemática conhecida como bullying. Este estudo de revisão teve como objetivo pontuar o significado do bullying, do bullying escolar e suas repercussões no agredido, apurou também a questão do gênero e a sexualidade na escola. Também relacionou o gênero e a identidade de gênero ao bullying escolar, verificando como o gênero tem influência direta nas ações de bullying e que a identidade de gênero também pode provocar algumas dessas ações. Sabe-se que as ações de bullying provocam diversas consequências tanto para vítimas, quanto para agressores e demais participantes desse fenômeno, e que suas ações devem ser evitadas antes de causar maiores danos. Deve-se capacitar todo o corpo docente e pais/ responsáveis pelos alunos para que estes saibam identificar as ações de bullying e intervir corretamente. Uma intervenção efetiva pode ser realizada durante o recreio/intervalo escolar, momento no qual a interação entre pares é mais facilmente observada e consequentemente, as ações de bullying.

Abstract

There is a growing discussion about violence today and this violence may occur specifically in the school environment manifesting itself through the systematic bullying known as bullying. This review study aimed to identify the meaning of bullying, school bullying and its repercussions on the victim, investigated the issue of gender and sexuality in school, relating gender and school bullying. It also related gender and gender identity to school bullying, verifying how gender has a direct influence on bullying and that gender identity can also trigger some of these actions. It is known that the actions of bullying cause diverse consequences for both victims, aggressors and other participants of this phenomenon, and that their actions should be avoided before causing greater damages. The entire faculty and parents / guardians should be trained so that they are able to identify bullying and intervene correctly. An effective intervention can be performed during school play, at which time peer interaction is more easily observed and, consequently, the actions of bullying.
